MLIA's (My Life is Average's)
Today, I learned from my shampoo that pants was a dirty word in 19th century Britain. Now Ron's swear of "Merlin's Pants!" makes sense. MLIA
Today, on our way to a dance recital, my family had to go back to my house to pick something up that we'd forgotten. My older brother ran inside to get it, and in his haste threw his iPod Touch at my younger brother. Instead of getting angry or upset, my younger brother said, "Master has given Dobby an iPod Touch! Dobby is free!" In response, my dad said, "Need freedom? There's an app for that." I love my family. MLIA
A few months ago my parents and I were looking at houses. We came across a house that had a cupboard under the stairs that looked exactly like the one in the Harry Potter movies. Today, I just finished moving my couch, tv & collection of harry potter books and movies into it. I have a feeling im going to be spending alot of time in here. MLIA
Today, in German my teacher was talking about all of the Germanic tribes and how they all look alike because of mass amounts of inbreeding over the years. He talked about it for five minutes before he said, "All in all, the Germanics were like the Purebloods in Harry Potter.' Needless to say everyone now fully understands the Germanic tribes.MLIA
Last night, I was watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for probably the 100th time. This was the first time I could actually understand that the basilisk was saying "I smell blood" and "kill". I am now convinced I am either a Parselmouth, or just very slow. MLIM

Breaking News! Live at 8:35!
Cathy: Hullo folks, and welcome back to Channel Seven Action news! Today we've got a story that will blow your minds! Here's Chuck on the scene.
Chuck: Hey folks, I'm here in Little Whinging, on a place called Privet Drive, but with this story the street won't be so private anymore! If you see that house there, *points to the Dursley's house* number four, there's a hole in the roof the shape of a person on a broom! Hoe strange is that? There were several of these in various parts of the house, mostly in the back, but the owner won't let us have a look. They all appear to be people on brooms! It's a bit early to be decorating for Halloween, don't you think? *Petunia and Vernon peer angrily out the window, who were obviously watching the news* ah look, the owners! Uh, back to you Cathy! *Vernon had just strolled out of the house brandishing a spatula*
Cathy: Along with these strange appearances, there also seems to be a shortage of power just before these things happen! For example, all the lights and all the power went out on Privet Drive! There were no faulty lines, nothing! The Dursley's say that they always happen when their neices stay with them, and it's their fault, though I hardly see how two twenty-year-olds could do all this! That's it for tonight folks! Tune in tomorrow for a special on Slinky the water-skiing budgy!

A Contest
Ari, Fred, George, Harry, Ron, and Hermione wandered around the lonely halls. Everyone else had long since left Hogwarts for the winter holidays. The six kids stayed every year though. Fred and George liked to test out their new experiments, Ari always left her homework until the last minute, Hermione stayed back to help out with keeping everybody in line, Harry certainly wasn't going to the Dursleys, and Ron didn't want to go home for whatever reason.
"This is boring." Ari commented.
"Yeah." they agreed.
"JINX! You owe me a butterbeer!" Fred and George said at exactly the same time.
"Yuo owe me one from last time!"
"Nuh-uh! You owe me one!"
"Do not!"
"Do too!"
"Do not!"
"Do too!"
"Boys, boys!" McGonagall called out.
"Oh. Sorry Professor." The boys said standing up and dusting off their robes. McGonagall glowered at them and walked back into her office.
"Now what?" Hermione said.
"What's that?" Ron asked, pointing only about a yard away to the lake. A giant tentacle rose up out of the lake, the only water which didn't freeze in the winter due to magical protective charms. We suddenly realized we were stuck. The tentacle flew towards us. We turned to run and saw the Whomping Willow. We had no choice except the squid or the deadly tree.
"What to we do?" Hermione screamed.
