You know you're obsessed...

You know you're obsessed with Harry Potter when:

  • You can tell the Weasley twins apart just by their smiles
  • you can name almost any character and the actor/actress who plays them
  • you write blogs about them
  • you have nearly 15 stories (one being 56 pages long) about the characters
  • you get a fashion desgin studio for christmas and make clothes with Gryffindor colors
  • you hang Gryffindor banners on your wall
  • you buy any poster/bookmark that has harry potter on it
  • you google harry potter just to find more fan websites because the ones you read don't post quickly enough
  • you can't finish this list because there are too many other things.

more awesomeness. If it is possible...

Why did J.K. kill Dumbledore???

Why did Dumbledore have to die? What did he do to deserve death? What will Harry do now that his biggest mentor is dead? WHY DID DUMBLEDORE HAVE TO DIE???

As all of us avid Harry Potter readers know, Severus Snape killed Albus Dumbledore at the end of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Now Dumbledore was Harry’s biggest mentor. So why did J.K. kill him? It was simply to teach us a valuable lesson:
You won’t always have someone there to guide you, or help you through tough times. You won’t always have your teacher there to help you with homework, or a friend to help you babysit, or a parent to help you with homework. You’re going to have to do things on your own. Whether it is finding horcruxes to destroy the world’s most dangerous wizard, or babysitting your next door neighbor’s kid, or raising your own children. J.K. is a pure genius; she knows just how to fit in a great lesson without making it direct. Props to J.K.!

okay, i lied.

I said I was going to do Fred and George next. I lied. But I am working of F&G I just need a song. Oh well. Well this is kind of sad but it's cool too. I did a video in memory of James and Lily. I really like the song. it's actually from Severus to Lily but the first 30 seconds work for this video.

Currently working on: Fred and George, Severus and Lily

Ginny to Harry (I knew you'd never stay)

I love making movies! haha! If you are interested in the full version of the song it is available for free download at Zoë's Adventures Under Ground on Last.fm

This song has a meaning. If you have read the books and/or seen the movies and you listen to the song i guarantee you will relate the books to the song!!!

I made a remix because I was bored. Haha! Comment if you want me to make a video of more characters. Please ask for Harry Potter characters, as this is a Harry Potter blog. Next I am doing Fred and George.

A Tribute to Luna

Just for the record, yes, I did make this at animoto.com and there WILL be more!!!

Potterwatch: Episode One

For the safety of those willing to broadcast Potterwatch, we will not be sharing real names as it may put them in danger with Snatchers* or Death Eaters.
*Snatchers are people who go around randomly capturing people to find out if they are a muggleborn who did not show up for questioning. If you have absolutely no idea what I am talking about, read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Five Year Old Twins

“Mommy! Why do we got to stay in here with the babies?” Fred whined. “We are big! We’re five now!”
“Because I’m busy and I don’t need you two running around the house, that’s why! Why don’t you behave like George, and sit down and look at the books.”
“I don’t wanna look at the books!” He yelled, crossing his arms. George, meanwhile, just sat on the ground in the playpen looking at the book, while two year old Ron sat next to him, sucking his thumb and clutching his teddy.
Fred stood there with a pouting look on his face for quite some time. Finally he realized that it was getting him nowhere so he started singing loudly.
“Fred! Shush! Ginny’s falling asleep!” Ginny had been falling asleep but now she was wide awake.
“Can we play with those girls down the street?”
“Perhaps later. I’d have to owl their godfather first. But only if you’re good.”
“Okay.” Fred sat down next to Ginny and scowled at her. He despised her. She took all of his mother’s attention. She was spoiled, as she was the only girl. Fred stared at her.
Maybe if I stare hard enough her head will explode. Bill told me something about that happening once. I don’t know why he was laughing though…
“Fred? What are you staring at Ginny for?” his mum questioned.
“No reason.”
“Well don’t bother her. The poor dear looks so terribly sleepy.”
“Okay.” Fred shoved baby Ron out of the way and sat next to George to look at the book. Ron gave him an angry look but sat on the other side of George to look at the book again. Ginny fell asleep and Ron was walking around in endless circles. Two year olds in the Weasley household always did that, but nobody knew why. Suddenly there was a snap.
“What was that?” Fred asked spinning his head around wildly.
“Nothing.” George said quickly. He didn’t want Fred to get mad. Ron was sitting in the corner with his teddy still clutched tight and a broken toy broom under him.
“YOU BROKE MY BROOM!” Fred yelled. His face was red and his eyes were bulging. “YOU STUPID BABY! YOU BROKE MY BROOM!” Ron started crying. But what else was a baby supposed to do when he’s being yelled at? Suddenly the teddy bear grew six more legs, and it’s hair was disappearing. It’s body was growing bigger. Ron screamed and cried.
“Mommy! Mommy! ‘Pider! ‘Pider! Fred meanie! Fred make ‘pider! Hewp mommy!” By now Ginny had woken up and Mrs. Weasley came into the room. But when she saw the spider she screamed and grabbed Ginny and Ron. She quickly put them down and picked up Fred and George. Her face had gone very pale. The chime on the Weasley Family Clock dinged once, indicating that someone was about to arrive home. She looked at the clock and saw that her husband, Arthur, was home. There was the turn of a key in the door and he walked in.
“Hullo Molly dear. Hullo kids. Where’d that huge spider come from?” He said kneeling down to look at the spider.
“Fred’s showing his first signs of magic.”
“Is he really? Oh no. I can’t imagine what the twins’ll be like when they can use magic. Oh dear.” His face too had gone pale.
“Get rid of the spider, please Arthur. It’s scaring the babies.” Ron had hidden his face in his mother’s skirt and Ginny was wailing.
“Reducio!” The spider shrunk and he picked it up. He then threw it outside and smiled.
“See? No harm done. Well except for maybe the twins… did George do anything?”
“No, thank heavens! I simply can’t imagine what the house would be like with both of them experimenting!” she shuddered then set the babies down on the couch. She grabbed Fred and George firmly on their arms and took them up to their rooms.
“Now I don’t want either of you to think about doing magic. Okay?”
“Okay mummy!” Fred jumped on his bed.
“No jumping! Do you want the house to fall apart?” Fred fell onto the floor and giggled.
“No more jumping! And don’t come out until I open the door!” She shut the door and walked downstairs.
“Now Molly…. Can’t control……magic…..unfair” the twins heard bits and pieces of the conversation but could not tell what their parents were talking about. But they knew it had to do with something being unfair about magic and can’t control it. George stared at the door and Fred dove into the closet to look for something. He picked it up.
"Spider." he said. nothing happened.
"SPIDER!" he said a bit more loudly.
"SPIDER!!!" He yelled.
"FRED! GEORGE! BE QUIET!" their mother yelled up the stairs. Fred dove back into the closet.
“I wish mummy would let us out. Hey! The door’s open!” George exclaimed. There was no longer an oak door blocking the exit, so the twins darted out and went downstairs.
“MUMMY! Can we go play with those girls now?”
“Fred! George! You’re supposed to be in your room!”
“But you opened the door!”
“No- I…. ARTHUR!” her face had gone pale once more. Mister Weasley came running into the room.
“What- you let Fred and George out?”
“No. The door was open.” She shuddered.
“Oh no. Was one of you concentrating on the door?”
“What’s congenpathting?”
“Right, five year olds. Was one of you looking at the door?”
“I was in the closet.” Fred said.
“I was.” George replied.
“Oh no. Oh dear. There isn’t any chance there would be anybody would teach them how to control their magic? I think I had a babysitter once that taught me…”
“Molly, we’ve already chased away twenty-six babysitters this month! And it’s only the twenty-eighth!”
“Oh dear, I didn’t realize we had had that many…”
“Well, we just need them to think they want their door back.”
“Right.”
“George, will you come with me?” George trotted up the stairs after his dad.
“Mummy? Can we-“
“NO you may not go play with the girls down the street. You are going to go see Percy, he’ll be able to restrain you.”
“What?”
“Nothing. Go see Percy.”
“Percy! Percy!” Ron shouted.
“No Ronnie, you’re going to stay with mummy.”
“Mummy! Mummy! Baby Ginny?”
“Yes, baby Ginny too. Fred, now go see Percy NOW!” The color had risen in Mrs. Weasley’s face so Fred ran as fast as he could to Percy.
“Percy! Mummy said to see you. I see you. Bye Percy!” Fred ran out of the room almost as fast as he came in. Percy paid no attention to Fred whatsoever.
“Mummy! I saw Percy! I’m back.” Mrs. Weasley sighed.
“I think they’re going to drive me absolutely mad one of these days…” She muttered. George and Mister Weasley came back in the room.
“Door back! The door’s back!” George exclaimed. “I did magic mummy! I wanted it back and it came! The door likes me!”
“Yes, I’m sure it does.”
The days passed. Fred and George, now six, were causing even more mayhem. One their birthday they managed to explode the table. The day after that the turkey they were eating at dinner swelled so much that it was as big as the newly repaired table and broke it again. Fred and George were sent to their room and the others decided it would be best to sit outside rather than try to eat on a twice broken table. Three days after that there was a loud boom from upstairs. Fred and George’s room was on the fifth floor.
“Do I even want to know?” Mrs. Weasley said as she looked up. Her mouth dropped wide open. Rubble and wood fell on her face. There was a large hole in the floor. Fred and George peered down from the fifth floor.
“Hi Mummy! There’s a hole in the floor! It just appeared!”
“I see. Arthur, the sooner these two go to Hogwarts the better! But poor professor Dumbledore, they’ll be in his office fifty times a day!” She shook her head. It was going to be a long five years.

Lily's Adventures

“AUGH! Lil stop that!”
“Oh come ON Tuney! I’m not hurting anybody!”
“But it scares me! What if you could do that…. To me? And it didn’t work and I was gone forever?” Petunia’s eyes filled with tears at the thought of dying.
“Oh Tuney, I’d never try it on you. You’re my sister.” Lily laughed her beautiful, musical laugh.
“Ouch!” Petunia picked up a heavy stick.
“Who’s that?” A small boy came out of the bushes, rubbing his head.
“You’re that boy from down the street. Mummy told me your family was weird.”
“Tuney! Mummy never said anything like that! You said that!”
“Hush Lily! I’m your older sister, I have to protect you!” The boy turned to Lily and held out a hand.
“I’m Severus. I’ve been watching you. You’re a witch.”
“That’s not very nice! Come on Lily, let’s go home!”
“No, I only meant that- you can do magic!” The boy exclaimed. He was practically jumping.
“Magic? But I thought-“
“That’s because you’re a mud- muggle born.”
“A what?”
“Muggle are what wizards call people who can’t do magic.”
“Oh.”
“Lily, please! Mummy won’t be happy if she knew that you were talking to him!”
“Petunia! Please, mummy never said anything bad about them! Just that they were a bit odd!” Petunia sat down on the swing and pouted.

Mrs. Lovegood's Experiment

"Ah, yes. Let's try this." said Mrs. Lovegood as she added a sprig of peppermint to the alreayd overflowing potion. The cauldron was bubbling and a bit of slime fell out of it.
"Oh! Luna, don't move!" Luna was sitting in the corner flipping through her copy of The Tales of Beedle The Bard, a book she had read countless times before. She looked up at her mum.
"Okay mummy!" Mrs. Lovegood ran into the kitchen to grab a towel.
"LUNA! Don't touch that!" Mrs. Lovegood ran back into the room as she heard her husband scream.
"You really need to watch her more carefully! You cannot trust a nine year old around a cauldron!"
"I'm sorry Xeno, I just had to grab a towel to clean up some goo. There, it's gone now." she said wiping the mess.
"You could have just used magic to clean it up." He replied.
"I don't trust magic when I'm experimenting. What if something went wrong and I exploded the house?"
"Alright, but watch her more carefully! I have to finish writing and the article is due tomorrow!" Xeno said as he walked out of the room.Mrs. Lovegood pushed back her silvery blond hair and tied it up with a purple ribbon. This was how she usually wore it when she was experimenting. She smiled as her daughter, Luna, pulled her hair back and tied it back with her purple ribbon. Luna was a miniature version of her mom. Mrs. Lovegood smiled and went back to work. She looked into the cauldron and saw her silvery blue eyes staring back at her. The potion had completely evaporated and water was all that was left. Mrs. Lovegood wandered around the house and opened up all the windows. She didn't want her family getting poisoned by any lingering fumes. Luna followed her around, gazing up at her with her big blue eyes.
"Mommy! Guess what! Daddy said when I'm a big girl we can go hunting for Crumple Horned Snorkacks!" Luna exclaimed.
"Well that's wonderful sweetie! I can't wait to go!" Mrs. Lovegood said as she leaned down to hug her daughter. Luna beamed. "Mommy has t ogo work on her potion. Do you want to help me?"
Luna nodded fervently and the pair walked back into the basement. Mrs. Lovegood put the cauldron back onto the fire and put more water in.
"Do you see those green things over there? That's peppermint. Can you put a handful of that in?" Luna nodded and went to go get the peppermint. She tossed it into the fire.
"Good. Now can you go get some of those tulip petals? Good, good." Mrs. Lovegood as Luna took a few petals and put them in the fire. Mrs. Lovegood pointed her wand at the wall and it spun around. There were several shelves of jars of what looked like eyes, teeth, and several things nobody could tell what they were. She grabbed a few jars and dumped the contents into the cauldron, now a deep purple and was boiling. Mrs. Lovegood coughed. She had had Dragon Pox for a few weeks. She quickly took the cauldron off of the fire and put it on her desk. She went to grab a few empty jars. She took a spoon and dipped it into the cauldron. She slowly drank the contents of the spoon and her Dragon Pox instantly disappeared.
"I've done it! I've done it! I've found- No! There could be spies! Always look out for spies, Luna." Mrs. Lovegood poured the contents of the potion into the empty jars and his them in the secret room. The potion was never seen again.

Luna tripped and fell down the stairs, giving her amnesia for a week. When she finally regained her memory, she could not remember anything about a secret room or a potion.

One of Mrs. Lovegood's experiments went horribly wrong and she was killed in the accident and the potion remains there today.
